Haute Riviera connects the scenic roads of the Maritime Alps with the hinterland of the Côte d’Azur. High-altitude routes, deep valleys, and barren rock gradually give way to pine forests, Mediterranean towns, and views of the coast.
The route isn’t planned around the most famous Riviera destinations. What matters most are roads that are easy to drive on, well-timed breaks, and stopovers where the group actually wants to arrive in the evening. The coast serves as a point of contrast—not the main focus of the tour.
BETWEEN THE CLIFFS AND THE SEA.
Haute Riviera thrives on the variety it offers over the four days of riding. At higher elevations, the route is characterized by steep climbs, technical sequences of turns, and significant temperature fluctuations. Further south, the roads become smoother, the vegetation takes on a more Mediterranean character, and the evenings grow longer.
The daily itinerary takes traffic around well-known locations and coastal stretches into account with particular care. Scenic routes are traveled at times when they are not already blocked by day-trippers. Where weather, road closures, or traffic would disrupt the schedule, a reliable alternative is available.
GREAT LOCATIONS, NOT JUST GREAT VIEWS.
The hotels are selected based on their location, atmosphere, service, and secure parking. In the evening, you should be able to leave your car parked. Restaurants and group meals reflect the region—from Alpine cuisine at higher elevations to Mediterranean influences closer to the coast.
MAXIMUM OF 15 VEHICLES. THREE GUIDED GROUPS.
The tour is conducted in three groups that start at staggered intervals, each with a maximum of five participant vehicles and its own guide. Clearly defined meeting points, pre-planned fuel stops, and realistic stage distances keep the groups moving and prevent long delays while waiting for others to catch up.
Each day of riding begins with a brief briefing. The morning and afternoon legs are separated by a reasonable lunch break. Photo stops and scenic viewpoints are included when they fit into the itinerary—not as an excuse for a tour that involves more standing than riding.
SPORTY, RELIABLE, AND SUITABLE FOR MOUNTAIN TERRAIN.
Sports coupes, hot hatches, sporty sedans, GTs, or supercars are generally suitable. The brakes, tires, cooling system, and overall technical condition must be able to reliably handle long mountain passes. Power alone is not a selection criterion; more important are confident vehicle control and a pace that suits the group.

Drivers without a passenger are generally accommodated in a single room; the single room is already included in the “Driver Only” price. When booking with a passenger, a shared double room is provided. The passenger rate applies to the second person in the same vehicle.
